Four Israeli police officers were injured in a car-ramming incident overnight at a checkpoint in Kochav Yair town, which borders the occupied West Bank with Israel. According to Israeli police, the attacker then headed towards the Eliyahu Crossing between Israel and the occupied West Bank, where he attempted to stab security agents, who neutralised him. The attacker was identified as 26-year-old Wahhab Shbita from the Arab-Israeli town of Tira.
