The latest season of Bigg Boss is here with Salman Khan returning as host promising a daily dose of entertainment to fans. With an interesting lineup of contestants, it seems that drama has already begun inside the house soon after the premiere. The October 8 episode saw Shehzada Dhami and Avinash Mishra locking horns over the ration task wherein the contestants had to stay awake and fill the hourglass in pairs.
It all started after Karan Veer Mehra started performing the task alone instead of waiting for his partner Avinash Mishra, who fell asleep while waiting for their turn. Given the violation of rules, Bigg Boss annulled the task and the housemates received less ration, leaving many agitated. In one of the arguments, Shehzada Dhami accused Avinash of sleeping in a corner where no one could find him as Avinash maintained it was not his fault.
The tension in the house escalated as Karan Veer Mehra and Arfeen Khan also argued over the same issue, with the latter telling the Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 winner not to talk rubbish with him. Avinash also supported Afreen, pointing out Karan’s mistake saying, “Wahin wrong ho gaya,” hinting at him doing the task alone, instead of waiting for him. Agitated by the debate, Karan told Avinash that he did not deserve to speak to him. In reply, Avinash said, “Ye mat bolo ke main bolne layak nahi hoon, baat ye hai ke tune akele start kar diya task (Don’t tell me if I deserve it or not, the thing is that you started the task alone).”
Later in the episode, Bigg Boss also announced the concept of Mayavi Jail, allowing the prisoners to either get released from jail or have control over the ration. Tajinder Bagga and Hemlata Sharma stepped in with the decision to own the power and the housemates had varied reactions. The Viral Bhabhi was also heard saying, “Mujhe kuch nahi mila accha ban ke, na ghar hai na bank balance.”
In this season of Bigg Boss 18, the makers ensured to up the drama quotient, roping in celebrities like Shilpa Shirodkar, Chaahat Pandey, Shehzada Dhami, Avinash Mishra, Vivian Dsena, Shrutika Arjun, Nyrraa M Banerji, Chum Darang, Karan Veer Mehra, Muskan Bamne, Arfeen Khan, Sara Arfeen Khan, Hema Sharma, Gunratan Sadavarte, Eisha Singh and Alice Kaushik as contestants.
