Russian President Vladimir Putin has agreed to make his first foreign visit to China in October since a warrant for his arrest on alleged war crimes was issued by the International Criminal Court. A Bloomberg report stated Putin is set to set foot in China for the Belt and Road forum later this year.
Bloomberg quoted a source on the condition of anonymity who said that the Kremlin has been preparing for Putin’s visit to China after the Russian President accepted Chinese President Xi Jinping’s invitation to attend the conclave.
