Star Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja equaled Irfan Pathan’s wicket tally to become the joint-most successful Indian bowler in Asia Cup ODIs during the group match against Nepal on Monday in Pallekele. Both Jadeja and Pathan have taken 22 wickets in Asia Cup One-Day Internationals, demonstrating their exceptional bowling abilities on the international stage.

After Shardul Thakur broke the opening stand in the 10th over, Jadeja took center stage. He first dismissed Bhim Sharki and then Nepal’s skipper Rohit Paudel with a beautifully delivered ball. Paudel’s wicket fell in the 20th over, marking a significant shift in the game’s momentum.
The dismissal of Rohit Paudel was particularly noteworthy. Jadeja delivered a quick, flatter ball on-off, which Paudel attempted to punch. However, a thick outside edge sent the ball flying to first slip, where Rohit Sharma made a sharp catch to his left. This marked Jadeja’s third wicket of the match.
