In an interview with Pinkvilla, Anurag said that actors should get their due after they have proved themselves in their careers over a period of time.According to him, those who get their dues early, also lose them early. The director also mentioned how Kartik Aaryan got his due late in his career.
Apart from Anurag Kashyap, ‘Haddi’ also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui in the lead role along with Ila Arun, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Saurabh Sachdeva, Shridhar Dubey, Rajesh Kumar, Vipin Sharma, and Saharsh Shukla. The film will hit the theatres on September 7 on an OTT platform.
Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan will next be seen in Kabir Khan’s ‘Chandu Champion‘ where he will be seen portraying the role of a real-life sportsperson. In the first look from the movie, the actor is seen sporting a clean-shaven look and a blazer.
Kartik recently wrapped up the first shooting schedule of the film in London. He wrote in a social media post, ‘When INDIA is written on your chest, it’s a DIFFERENT feeling. Apart from this, he also has Hansal Mehta’s ‘Captain India‘ in his pipeline. The thriller drama is reportedly based on a true story. The film is inspired by one of India’s successful rescue missions from a war-torn country, with Kartik as the pilot who leads the operation and displays exemplary bravery and courage.
Kartik is also a part of Anurag Basu’s ‘Aashiqui 3‘ where he will be sharing the screen space with Akanksha Sharma. He has also announced ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3‘. The rest of the cast is yet to be unveiled.
