As Nothing phone’s LED backlit design has attracted a wide range of audience, it seems that several brands are now exploring the same to offer users a better experience on their phones.
Infinix’s GT series phone is coming with a semi-transparent glass back design with an LED strip, as per leaks. Similarly, the Tecno Pova 5 Pro is now launching in India with LED backlit design, but with RGB lights. It borrows the concept of Nothing phone, but features a different design.
The Tecno Pova 5 Pro will be announced next month, India Today Tech has learned from industry sources. Amazon has also published a teaser on its platform, which says that the device will be coming soon. Though the official launch date is yet to be revealed. The teaser confirms that the Tecno Pova 5 Pro will feature LED lights at the rear panel to provide a different experience to users.
The company is calling the RGB backlit design Arc Interface. Tipster Ishan Agarwal claimed on Twitter that the LED lights will be to inform users about the notifications, and the light will blink when the phone receives a call. It will display different colours for an incoming call. The design is pretty different from what we saw on the Nothing phone.
The new Tecno phone seems to have a dual camera setup at the back and the rear panel has a strip of textured surface, which might be for a better grip. The RGB lights at the back look cool, but it remains to be seen whether the company will offer options to customise the LED lights.
As of now, there is no information on which price segment the company is planning to target for the new Tecno Pova 5 Pro. It is being that the device will come with support for fast charging tech and a massive battery. We expect to see a typical punch-hole display design on the front as this is something that we have been seeing on most Android phones for the past few years. The device seemingly has a very big display, as per the teaser.
The Tecno Pova 5 Pro will be available for purchase through Amazon because the teaser for the same is out on this platform. We will have more details about it in the coming weeks as the company is planning to launch the phone next month. You can stay tuned to India Today Tech for all the updates.
